Since both are coming up and people are asking, I thought I'd make a list so that I had one somewhere.

THE BASICS: write a Christmas/Holiday wish list. It can be any 10 wishes you'd like to have granted, no matter what they are. Possible or seemingly impossible. People look and grant the wishes if they can. It's not about "OMFG PRESENTS", it's about making someone else's holiday a little brighter by giving. Personally, I get more out of giving than receiving sometimes. It's just a good feeling to give.

STEP ONE

** Make a post in your journal. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fun ("I'd love a Snape/Hermione icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.

** If you wish for real possible things, make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you. In this case, you can always just note someone on dA.

** Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your journal, so that others can join in and participate to spread the holiday joy!


STEP TWO

** Surf around your friend list to see who has posted their list. And now here's the important part:

** If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use--or even know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for free--do it.

** You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not--it's your call.

There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just...wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special

1. Psycho-busters 3,4 and any new ones that have come out since I last went to the mall.

2. As always, fun original/original/toe/thigh-high/amazing socks.

3. To get some auditions on ~FallingDimensions actually in and finished and what not.

4. A copy of Startdust by Neil Gaiman, or a copy of Howl's Moving Castle. I've been wanting to read these for a long time.

5. A really well made, nice pair of slippers. The ones I got for my last birthday have the fabric and white fluff on the inside coming (almost made a dirty typo there) to the outside.

6. A new car, preferably a Mazda3 (probably not getting that one though)

7. A pattern to make a Lolita/Victorian-style dress for myself, the kind porcelain dolls wear. (want this one real bad) (My computer actually knows how to spell Lolita, it told me that it was spelled right but needed to be capitalized. Yay Delilah!... but she doesn't know the interjection "yay"...)

8. Tablet and Photoshop, so I don't have to go to ~fruitsnacks222's house for four hours every time I want to actually put something up here. (seriously, I have a ton of line-art that doesn't get here cause I want to color it, but it's too much of a hassle.)

9. Green nail-polish. (It's the one color that I don't have in the rainbow.)

AND FOR THE BIGGIE

10. A macbook or a laptop, so I don't have to fight the createns for Delilah, and I have a computer for college.

11. (cause I feel like it) To UNDERSTAND and pass AP Physics.

12. A book of really pretty, medium challenging, piano music. Stuff that makes me actually WANT to play it. Maybe I can start up that instrument AGAIN.

Ok, I to just edit this journal cause people might still want to look at this and such.

Today Sean came home with me from school like he often does. Cause he can't drive yet and it's easier for his mom to just come pick him up at my house after she gets of work and such.

BUT~

Today in digital photo his teacher showed him how to do light art on the camera and such. And may I say, that stuff is HOT SHIT!
We went down in my basement and closed the black out blinds and all the doors and such and just played with his camera, flashlights, and color lenses for the flashlights.
It was SOOO much FUN!
He's coming over again this weekend and we're gonna do it again, maybe outside this time.
